Standard cotton isn't dust mite proof.
Ordinary cotton has a loose weave. Dust mites and allergens pass straight through. It feels soft, but it won't stop your symptoms.

Yes, it costs more.
Eucalyptus silk is pricier than cotton. We use it because it's the only fabric that blocks dust mites and stays breathable and comfortable. Cheaper bedding doesn't solve the problem — so it isn't really cheaper.
Protectors are the barrier. They fully encase your mattress, pillows and duvet in a 5 micron weave. Dust mites are around 200 microns, so they physically cannot get through. Protectors go on first and stay on, needing only a vacuum or wash every 3 months.
Bedding is the layer you sleep against. A softer 40 micron weave, gentle on sensitive skin, and built to survive a weekly 60°C wash, the temperature that kills dust mites. Most ordinary bedding can't take 60°C, so it never gets properly clean.

Most solutions treat the symptoms, not the cause. Dust mites live inside your mattress, pillow and duvet, and sprays or antihistamines can't reach them there. Our encasements physically seal your bedding with a precision zip, blocking 99.97% of allergens from reaching you every night. It is a permanent fix, not a workaround.

Absolutely. All materials are OEKO-TEX certified and safe for children, including those with eczema or asthma. We include a Cot Bed size in this set. Encasing your child's bed is one of the most recommended steps by allergists for reducing symptoms without relying on medication.
Not at all. Once you encase your mattress, the allergens inside are sealed away from you. Your existing mattress, pillow and duvet are all fine to use. No need to throw anything out or buy new bedding first.
Nothing like those. Our eucalyptus silk is genuinely soft, breathable and silent. Once your normal bedding is on top you will forget they are there. A lot of customers are surprised by how comfortable they are.
The barrier works from night one. Most people start noticing less congestion and irritation within one to two weeks, with a clearer improvement by the end of the first month.
Wash them once a month at 60 degrees and let them air dry. Do not tumble dry. The barrier does not degrade with washing because it is built into the fabric structure. Your bedding on top should be washed weekly to monthly at 60 degrees as part of your normal routine.
We offer Cot Bed, Single, Double, King and Super King. If your mattress falls between sizes, go up to the next one. It still gives you full protection and is easier to fit. Our standard encasement suits mattresses between 10 and 30cm deep. For mattresses between 30 and 45cm, you will need our deep fit version which is listed separately on the site.
